NDEW season


Tthere will be a National Drive Electric Week event in La Crosse on Sunday, October 1 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the City Hall parking lot on La Crosse Street near Fourth Street. There is no Packers game that day AND Oktoberfest at the Fest grounds nearby ends the dáy before! The Wisconsin state legislature increased, the annual EV penalty to $175, so the annual registration fee will be $260 ($85+$175). Plus, now EV license plates have to have a sticker identifying the vehicle as an EV.

Next Saturday, September 16, ReCharge MN will host an EV Test Drive and Expo at Winona State University from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They would love to have more EVs there. The event page and sign up info is here: https://www.recharge-minnesota.org/winona-ev-expo-2023/

The City of La Crosse is planning a Climate Action Plan ACTION Kick-off event on Tuesday, September 26 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the La Crosse Center. More details will be available soon.
